Technology in the Parish

The Archdiocese of Omaha has an excellent website that demonstrates good stewardship of technology (and takes advantage of the opportunities for communication that I mentioned in my paragraph) by providing ease of access to a wide variety of information quickly and succinctly.

(proper citation is made difficult because the author of the website, and date of creation could not be determined.)

The archdiocese has really used the website to help reach the parishes, schools, as well as other arch/diocese's to foster communication and collaboration so that we can more effectively deliver ministry.

The in-house IT department created and maintain the website which was launched about a year ago.

I hope you enjoy it and find it extremely useful.

Thanks for the comment Barry, I was linking to the Archomaha website because it's a really good example of just what you report as the goal, "foster communication and collaboration so that we can more effectively deliver ministry".

Keep up the good work.
